The first model was horse drawn. It was then adapted to pull behind truck or tractor.

The next improvement was to add cast wheels for depth control and to repack the ditch as shown in this photo with Paul Austin driving. Paul was one of Jesse & Harry’s first employees and eventual became a partner in the company.

The final improvement was to add a mechanical lift to bring the discs out of the ground for transport.
